About the Role:
WGMI Labs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer specializing in Full Stack Web Application Development. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and launching software products for our clients, many of whom are non-technical entrepreneurs looking to bring their innovative ideas to life. You’ll work with a variety of technologies, including JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, AWS, Vercel, and more, to create high-quality, scalable, and efficient web applications.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be involved in every stage of the development process, from initial concept to deployment. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating client requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring that the final product meets both client expectations and high industry standards. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our clients’ businesses, helping them launch products that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies including JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, AWS, and Vercel.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into robust, efficient code.
- Lead the architecture and design of new software systems, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security, using best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and maintaining high code quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our development processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Web Application Development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with extensive experience in React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, including deploying and managing applications on AWS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and environments such as Vercel, Git, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Solid understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to architect and implement scalable, high-performance applications.
- Experience working in agile development environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Passion for helping entrepreneurs bring their software ideas to life and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Compensation:
✅ Target base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 + a competitive equity package.

What Your First 90 Days Will Look Like:
- Within 30 Days: Get up to speed with WGMI Labs' processes, tools, and current projects. Start contributing to ongoing development tasks and become familiar with our clients' needs.
- Within 60 Days: Take ownership of significant development projects, leading the architecture and development of key features or entire applications.
- Within 90 Days: Achieve mastery of our tech stack, consistently deliver high-quality code, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our development processes. Begin mentoring junior developers and actively participate in strategic planning sessions.
